Where do you deliver or ship?
We offer local delivery to Big Sandy, Havre, Fort Benton, and Great Falls.
If you’re outside these areas or along the Hi-Line, please contact us before ordering — we’ll confirm if delivery is available or help you set up a shipped order.

For Montana customers outside our delivery zone, we offer UPS Ground frozen shipping statewide right to your doorstep.

 👉 Please note: We do not ship our farm-fresh eggs — they’re just too delicate to survive the journey! 

What are the shipping costs and order minimums?
Shipping frozen poultry isn’t cheap — between insulated packaging, dry ice, and fast delivery, the costs add up quickly!

• We charge a flat $45 shipping fee anywhere in Montana.
• Orders over $395 ship free.

To help cover shipping costs fairly, we request a $150 minimum order for shipped deliveries.   Contact us if you’d like to arrange shipping for an order under the $150 minimum if you are outside our delivery areas. 

For smaller orders, we’re always happy to arrange a local pickup or delivery if you’re in one of our nearby routes.

Can I pick up my order?
Yes! We offer free Big Sandy / farm pickup. We’ll contact you after you order to arrange pickup details if a time is not requested during checkout.

What’s the difference between “Products” and “Store”?
The Products page shows everything we offer throughout the year. The Store shows what’s currently available to order right now.

How do I place a bulk or custom order?
Easy! Contact us directly or select Custom Box - Bulk Orders in the store — we love working on custom or bulk orders for chicken, turkey, or value-added items.

Can I request special cuts or packaging?
Yes! Just reach out before ordering, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

What do you feed your chickens and turkeys?
Our birds are fed local, corn-, soy- free, non-GMO grains we grow ourselves or source from trusted neighbors — plus what they forage on pasture.

What does “safe-ranged” mean?
We let our birds roam freely outdoors under supervision, with shelter and protection from predators — it’s like free-range, but smarter.

Do you offer farm tours?
Yes! Tours are offered seasonally, by appointment only. Contact us to schedule a visit and see how the farm magic happens.

How should I cook your poultry?
Our pasture-raised poultry cooks faster than conventional chicken. Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F — check out our blog for recipe ideas!

Can I refreeze the chicken if it thaws a bit in transit?
For best quality, we recommend keeping it cold on arrival, but yes — it’s safe to refreeze as long as it stayed at refrigerator temps or colder.

I’m outside Montana — can I order?
Not yet! Under our current poultry exemption, we only sell and ship within Montana.
